Set in a tranquil setting surrounded by the beautiful escarpment and overlooking the ocean, Lawrence Hargrave Private Hospital is situated in Thirroul, approximately 10 km North of Wollongong. The area is part of the recently amalgamated Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service which stretches from southern Sydney suburbs to the far South Coast.
The hospital offers rehabilitation, medical and palliative care services. These are offered as inpatient, day patient or as outpatient services. Ancillary services on offer include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social worker, clinical psychologist and dietician.
The hospital also offers Radio Frequency Neurotomy and diagnostic procedures under Image Intensifier.
