An opportunity exists for a salaried medical officer to join the existing hospital-based medical officers to provide in-patient support to a wide range of Consultants. However your primary area will be cardiology with support also given in general medicine.

Cairns Private Hospital has recently completed its major development which has included the addition of 56 new beds, new theatres, new rehabilitation gym, complete renovation of the Maternity Unit and renovation of existing beds. This has taken Cairns Private Hospital to a 148 bed licensed facility with 7 operating theatres, one day procedure room, 17 bed maternity unit with a Level 4 special care nursery, a cardiac catheterisation lab and an 8 bed CCU/HDU. We also have 24 day renal chairs and 9 day oncology chairs.
