St Andrew's Ipswich provides a comprehensive suite of clinical services. Previous developments have seen the establishment of a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and a Medical Oncology/Day Infusion Centre; eliminating the need for patients to travel out of the region to access services.

Clinical services provided at the hospital include: cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynaecology, haematology, infectious diseases, medical oncology, nephrology, neurosurgery (back), obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, pain medicine, rehabilitation, respiratory medicine, sleep medicine, plastic surgery, urology and vascular surgery. These services are supported by a Critical Care Unit and on-site medical staff 24 hours per day. The hospital also provides an After Hours Medical Clinic; access by appointment. Full radiology services including CT nuclear medicine and fully funded MRI, pathology, allied health and pharmacy services are also available.

St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital has recently commenced the largest redevelopment project in the hospital's 107 year history. The $64 million investment will ensure that Ipswich patients have adequate and timely access to private health care services into the future.
The new development will see the opening of the first private Emergency Centre within the Ipswich and West Moretion Region. Patients and their families will no longer have to travel to Brisbane to receive private emergency care.
A new intensive care unit will support the Emergency Centre and expanding surgical services via the addition of two operating theatres, with an accompanying 81 new private patient rooms; increasing the capacity of the hospital from 97 to 178 total beds.
Maternity and paediatric services were at the forefront of the redevelopment plans; with a predicted 5% population growth to occur within the region by 2031. A new 26 bed Maternity Unit will provide young families with quality local obstetric and paediatric services, supported by two new labour delivery suites.
Rehabilitation services will also benefit from the project, with the redesign facilitating the provision of a 21 bed rehabilitation ward with accompanying gymnasium. A new multi-deck car park will also provide plenty of on-campus parking, promoting easy access to the hospital. The redevelopment will provide a new front entry, expanded reception areas and retail support space. Building works are expected to be completed by August 2018.
